Welcome to the homepage of
Tanbara Japanese Language Association !

◆◆◆ Language is the gate to friendship ◆◆◆

We, the Tanbara Japanese Language Association was founded in 2005 as a division of the Tanbara International Exchange Association to carry out international exchange by teaching Japanese language to foreign residents under the slogan

“Aiming for active global understanding” from Tanbara in Saijo city, a place of scenic beauty and full of green, located at the foot of Mt. Ishizuchi on Shikoku Island, which is the tallest mountain in Western Japan. Let's have a good time with international exchange while learning Japanese.

Our teachers always make an effort to satisfy the various needs of attendants and to give lessons paying close attention to them.

The Tanbara Japanese Language Association holds Sunday Japanese language classes from 9 am to 11 am every Sunday at Tanbara Kominkan (Community Hall). There are several groups depending on level of Japanese ability. Furthermore, we support people who want to take the JLPT(Japanese Language Proficiency Test) and foreign students who are going to local schools for their Japanese language.

Since the class is open to visitors who are interested in learning or teaching Japanese and international exchange activities, we welcome you to come and look at the class.

In addition, we hope that you can introduce us to foreigners who are having trouble with Japanese.
